Best Las Vegas Nightclubs on the Weekend

Best Las Vegas Nightclubs on the Weekend

Finally, the weekend is here!

Everything is now settled. You’re free to roam and find yourself wondering what’s the best nightclub in Las Vegas on the weekend.

Well, search no more.

Las Vegas has plenty of excellent clubs open and easily accessible to you. But, I want to point out that weekends in Las Vegas are incredibly hectic. And while Fridays and Sundays are somewhat slower than Saturdays, these are still the busiest nights of the week.

And this is mostly the case because it’s when most tourists come into town. So expect longer lines, minimums on VIP services, and more crowded dance floors at most nightclubs.

Thankfully, though, weekends are incredibly fun. And the nightlife atmosphere at this time of the week will give you an experience like no other. It may even blow your mind if you’re not already used to mega-nightclubs. So, going out on the weekend is definitely worth it – no questions.

So with that said, let’s cover the best nightclubs in Las Vegas on weekends. And discuss the various options you have so you can find the right choice for your epic nightlife adventure.

Note: this guide isn’t in a particular order.

In this guide, you’ll learn:

  • Best Las Vegas Nightclubs on the Weekend

But it also provides a large dance floor to enjoy live performances from the biggest Hip-Hop and Top 40’s acts. Namely, Tory Lanez, Rick Ross, Gucci Mane, Jeremih, and 2 Chainz, to name a few. And if you enjoy Hip-Hop, Rap, or R & B, Drai’s is easily among the best clubs for these genres.

Zouk Nightclub

Zouk-Nightclub

Located in the Resorts World Hotel, the newest hotel on The Strip, Zouk Nightclub pushes the boundaries. And it leapfrogs over traditional norms to become one of the most technologically advanced nightclubs in Las Vegas.

Experience three separate venues packed into a single 26,000 SQ FT venue. Zouk’s main stage, called The Mothership, is where the action happens, though. Here, you’ll see its impressive DJ stage, highlighted by 30 floor-to-ceiling LED pods.

The other clubs, Capital Bar and Empire can serve as their own venues on some nights. But, they’re usually combined on weekends to create a single mega-club. Either way, Zouk hosts some of the biggest names in the EDM, Deep House, and Tropical House scenes. So get ready to enjoy performances from headlining DJs like Tiesto, Zedd, DJ Snake, Deadmau5, and more.

Located in Caesars Palace, Omnia Nightclub remains one of the most jaw-dropping clubs in all of Vegas, despite its age. And it’s a club with a design and atmosphere sure to impress.

Experience this sprawling mega-club that spans 75,000 SQ FT across multiple levels, each nothing short of impressive. But, the main stage and the Heart of Omnia are where things are at. In the main stage, you’ll see live performances from headlining EDM DJs like Calvin Harris, Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki, and Kaskade.

While the Heart of Omnia brings a Hip-Hop and Top 40s vibe. And it’s highly regarded as one of the best venues for these genres in town. But, you can also shake things up by heading upstairs to the Terrace. Here you’ll see a gorgeous panoramic view of the Las Vegas Strip and have a more relaxed open-air vibe. Either way, though, you’ll be quickly wowed by this club regardless of where you go in it.

XS Nightclub

Located in Encore Hotel, XS is upscale, elegant, and very intimate. Thankfully, only it can match the high-end lifestyle Encore offers, and it manages to do so wonderfully.

Inspired by the curves of the human body, XS transforms a traditional mega-club venue into one that’s a lot more luxurious than you’d expect. So it expect signature cocktails and high-end bottle service. But, XS even hosts an open-air nightswim event during the summers, a local favorite.

Still, be it day or night, XS is lavish. And they host only the best EDM DJs, including The Chainsmokers, Dillion Francis, Diplo, and Marshmello. So if you like EDM and are looking for a more upscale club, XS is currently unmatched.

JEWEL Nightclub

JEWEL-Nightclub

Located in ARIA Hotel, JEWEL Nightclub matches ARAI’s modern luxury and high-end aesthetic. But, it also brings a vibrant and unique state-of-the-art design of its own to the table.

Experience JEWEL’s two levels filled with VIP suites and its main dance floor. Here you’ll see its one-of-a-kind lighting wall with a full 360º movement. And it creates a truly mesmerizing visual experience that’s unlike anything else. JEWEL plays mostly Top 40s, and they occasionally have EDM DJs. But they normally host acts like Lil Jon, TYGA, DJ Drama, Murda Beatz, and blackbear.

Marquee Nightclub

Located in the Cosmopolitan Hotel, Marquee Nightclub is an open-air rooftop club that blends a nice view with a ridiculous party.

Experience this 40,000 SQ FT venue that converts from a dayclub complete with a patio overlooking The Strip during the day into one of the hottest nightclubs at night. Marquee comes complete with seven bars merged into three separate venues.

And on weekends, they host Drenched After Dark, a night swim event perfect for enjoying their luxurious daybeds and poolside cabanas. Either way, though, they offer an open music format, and the music ranges from EDM to the Top 40s. And they currently host artists like Fergie, Alan Walker, DJ Pauly D, and Benny Benassi.

TAO Nightclub

Located in the Venetian Hotel, TAO Nightclub is well known for bringing A-list celebrities to parties, considering it’s one of the top-grossing clubs in the U.S.

Hakkasan Nightclub

Hakkasan-Nightclub-inside-event

Located in the MGM Grand Hotel, Hakkasan is a world-renown mega-club and a longstanding one at that. It was the first flagship nightclub introduced back in 2013 by the largest company in this industry, the Hakkasan Group.

Experience its massive 10,000 SQ FT main room, featuring performances from headling DJs like Kaskade, Tieso, and Steve Aoki. But you’ll also see many top 40 artists too. We’re talking performances from acts like Lil Jon, TYGA, Pusha T, and Ludacris, to name a few. Still, not everyone will want the wild party the main room offers. In that case, Hakkasan also has the Ling Ling Club, a more low-key and relaxed venue on the third floor. There you’ll have a totally different vibe that’s perfect for escaping some craziness.

LIGHT Nightclub

LIGHT-Nightclub

Located in Mandalay Bay, LIGHT Nightclub gives guests a more versatile and practical nightlife experience than most other clubs. And it’s a go-to because of this.

Instead of mainly focusing on EDM alone, LIGHT plays an open music format. Yet they have many performances from major and upcoming Top 40s and Hip-Hop acts like 6LACK, Masego, and Majid Jordan.

But, more importantly, the LIGHT is actually more relaxed and stress-free than most mega-clubs, despite being just as large. And it offers unrivaled access to the bar and efficient VIP seating that’s not nearly as restrictive. Together, it becomes a far more practical venue that’s especially great for Hip-Hop, Rap, and R & B fans.

Conclusion

Now you know your options here in Vegas. Of course, this guide doesn’t cover absolutely every club in Las Vegas, as there are many venues located outside of The Strip. But, these are definitely the best from the plethora of options on The Strip specifically. And it’s very unlikely you’d leave one of these clubs any night feeling let down or unimpressed.
