The High Roller observation wheel is The Linq Hotel, Casino, and Entertainment promenade’s centerpiece. As the tallest observation wheel in the world, it offers a thrilling, yet luxurious ride inviting you to take in the incredibly amazing views of the Las Vegas skyline.

Shinning bright on the Las Vegas strip, the High Roller has now become a must visit for any Las Vegas visitor. It resembles the Ferris Wheel you’ve seen at county fairs and theme parks, and certainly spins like one; but it’s much more than a carnival can produce. It’s the crown jewel of the Linq, a premier outdoor shopping, entertainment, and dining district.

Besides being the world’s tallest observation wheel (it outdid the London Eye), the High Roller has 28 spherical, glass-enclosed cabins, each Italian-handcrafted, weighing 44,000 pounds and can carry up to 40 guests at a time. Each cabin comes with benches, and ample floor space.

Still on the cabins, each is modern-styled, luxurious, and air-conditioned. They also feature dynamic music and video shows, and the massive glass panels surround you from all directions, so that you can enjoy the 360 degrees sights stress free. At full capacity, the epic wheel can hold a total of 1,120 people. The ride takes 30 minutes, which is the time the entire wheel takes to rotate. It peaks at 550 feet above the ground level.

Before you get on the wheel, step into the waiting room bar, and get a beverage, which could be anything from a beer or wine to a lemonade. With your drink in hand, get into the posh glass pod, and neon-lit landscape. Take in the great views, and learn about the history of the city, and some of Las Vegas’ landmarks. This is the only place you’ll find the Eiffel Tower next to the Pyramids, as the witty narrator, whose voice is peeped into the posh pod will explain.

Experienced riders recommend that you pick the right side of the cabin, where you can stand and enjoy the most stunning views. While guests can enjoy normal rides on the High Roller, cabins are available for private occasions, such as weddings and private parties. Visitors can also take the happy hour cabin, which features an open bar that’s built into the ride. When the happy hour begins, a bartender will push a fully stocked rolling bar into each participating cabin, for the parties to ensue.

Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are sold at the wheelhouse, and don’t worry, with the golden Happy Half Hour ticket, they’re of a little concern

Once you have had your thrilling ride on the High Roller, check out the Sky Shop’s celestial skies, which are essentially a tiny version of the High Roller with their commemorative glassware. You can stick around the Linq and enjoy its entertainment promenade excellent bars, restaurants, and entertainment venues. You can even step into the Hotel and Resort where you can check out one of the most youthful and hippest boutique hotels in the city.

Graze in on the hearty American comfort food you can readily find at the Hash house, or try out the upscale Mexican fare at the Chayo Kitchen and Tequila Bar. If you’d like to burn those calories or do something fun, head out to the Brooklyn Bowl and knock down some pins. You can also upgrade your ticket so that it includes an admission to the Eiffel Tower Experience, which lets you ascend the top of the Eiffel Tower replica in Vegas, and access the 360 degree observation deck in the Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino, where you can enjoy more views of the city’s landmarks, such as the Bellagio fountains.
